Roche Pharmaceuticals had recently moved into brand new office space in Sydney’s Barangaroo, dynamically changing the way employees worked together. A new employment proposition was required to reflect this.

Belong Creative was asked to develop and execute an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) for Roche Pharmaceuticals, to be communicated to both internal and external stakeholders. Research included desktop, focus groups and one-on-one interviews. Strategy included articulation of 6 EVP pillars and 1 overarching Employer Brand Promise - Where passion meets purpose. Creative content such as photography, videography, icons and key messages was then created around employee ambassadors expressing their unique stories, each representing one of the 6 reasons why Roche is a great place to work.
Social Content and Toolkit
Belong Creative developed a social content calendar and mapped out a launch phase, followed by a rotation of EVP messages. From quote cards to workplace photos to employee video testimonials, we created close to 100 pieces of content that could be leveraged internally and externally. We also developed an Interactive Toolkit to help embed the EVP amongst leaders and hiring managers. It articulated the EVP Statement while helping the audience engage personally with each of the EVP Pillars. The Toolkit also encouraged leaders to have dialogue with their teams and hiring managers to have EVP-aligned conversations with candidates.
An insider's view of Roche's new work space in Barangaroo
One of the key features of the Roche EVP, was the new office in Barangaroo. Being in the CBD and centrally located was an opportunity for Roche to draw on a wider talent pool. Through new workplace photography, including 360º stills and drone footage we were able to bring the target audience a clear insight of what it would be like to work at Roche.
