Shifting perspectives on corporate finance

The project challenge was to change external candidates’ perceptions on what a career in corporate finance is like and to connect on an emotional level, particularly with women how they can get more out of their career at EY. The campaign had to have a global feel.

Outcome

Integrating studio shoots, user-generated content and multi-national locations.

Belong Creative was asked to develop and execute a series of employment videos for EY. Colleagues were pre-interviewed to better understand their story and then captured on video. A video shoot was conducted in Sydney, and we were able to use employees from various global offices to help create a global feel. This shoot was then replicated in Boston, USA to broaden the campaign even further. User-generated content was integrated during post-production to bring more authenticity to each story while also keeping production costs down. The project was well received with organic social media results (4 weeks) saw 4,875 total engagements and a very high 1.01% CTR on LinkedIN.

Experience a different perspective

As part of the project, we also created a stand-alone video featuring EY employees to help explain the diverse areas of Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) from strategy through to execution. Using a dramatic black and white tone, the viewer is captivated by the different faces of TAS.

Given the number of moving parts and internal logistics, Simon and the team remained calm under pressure and were true partners in helping me to present the best possible options to my stakeholders. Overall, it was great working with consultants who were leaders in their given field and stepped to the fore at different stages of the project to make it all happen!
