Putting Moree on the map as a regional transport hub

Projects+Infrastructure (P+I), on behalf of Moree Shire Plains Council, required a brand and positioning for a mixed-use land development.
Positioned as a new significant transport logistics hub, this opportunity and campaign was designed to put Moree at the forefront of local, regional and national businesses looking to expose their products and services to high traffic flow. At the same time assuring the local community that the hub will add long-term value back to the town.

LOGO + TAGLINE RATIONALE

The chosen logo reflected Moree’s famous assets; blue representing the town’s mineral baths, green for the region’s reputation as the nation’s food bowl and yellow for the pride of their indigenous heritage. The icon, laid on its side, has a sense of speed and travel - akin to a transport hub. Overall the brand creates a premium feel that has a sense of movement and energy. The tagline challenges the target audience to ‘open their eyes’ to Moree and they will be surprised with more than they expected. The tagline can be read as both More and Moree.

OUTCOME

Bringing a greater sense of pride and commercial growth to Moree.

Brand positioning and design concepts were delivered and approved before rolling out logo, website, IM and on-site hoarding and signage. The branding and collateral created a premium feel that conveyed a sense of movement, energy and confidence; ensuring anchor tenants such as a service station and takeaway restaurant were quickly secured.
