Bringing Allianz Australia's EVP to life through authentic storytelling
To truly launch their EVP locally, Allianz Australia had to own their 4x ‘Reasons to Believe’ - and bring them to life through authentic and inspiring stories from their people. The overarching idea of ‘confidence’ leveraged from the corporate brand was also a strong, emotional driver for candidates wanting to join Allianz.

Leveraging employee research, we refined Allianz's global EVP; including proof points, pillars and overall narrative (as seen below) into a localised messaging 'playbook' that would resonate with candidates and employees in Australia.
Behind the scenes
Over a 3-day shoot, we started with audio booths to capture authentic stories from the heart. Scripts were pre-written (post-interviews) and the challenge was to get the employees speak with a conversational tone. Day 2 was capturing all the 'at work' moments that brought each of their stories to life. And Day 3 was lots of fun - throwing projected footage over the employees.
Hassan's moving story of new beginnings as a refugee
When you want your life to start again, but companies aren’t willing to give you a chance, it’s no wonder why Hassan lost hope. That is, until he came cross the Sustainability Employment Program at Allianz. And so began his new beginning as a Case Manager in the Personal Injury team, and a future that’s filled with hope for refugees.
Alex values flexibility so she can stay balanced and happy
For Alex, there’s been constant unexpected twists and turns. From needing to be there for an unwell parent, never quite knowing when her fiancé will be home from the navy, or finding ways to manage her own anxiety. No matter what’s around life’s corner, at Allianz, she’s had the flexibility she needed, when she needed it.

The threat of natural disasters destroying rainforests and mangroves where he grew up is a reality that Jamie fears may come true. We go on a journey from hope for the future, overcoming struggles and then conclude by seeing their dreams confidently realised at Allianz. Each story is inspired by one of the 4x ‘Reasons to Believe’ - Caring for your future career development. Caring for all the things that make you, you. Caring for life’s twists and turns. Caring for our society and planet. Launched via LinkedIN by the employees themselves, the videos combined have gathered organically 1168 YouTube views, 21,478 LinkedIN post views, 376 reactions, 123 comments and 30 shares.
